A intenção é não entrar em conflito com os colegas de profissão aqui no Brasil, os quais ele sempre procura elogiar em suas declarações. Além de ser algo que não é de seu feitio.
Acima disso, porém, está o foco nas decisões. Assim como o clube pensa, Abel está focado em preparar seu time para ir em busca dos títulos que ainda restam para o Verdão na temporada, que são o do Brasileirão e da Libertadores. Tanto a comissão técnica portuguesa, quanto os dirigentes alviverdes consideram esses próximos jogos essenciais para se manter nessa disputa por duas taças.
Na visão interna, que também envolve o elenco, não é hora de se preocupar com o que vem de fora e sim com o que se trabalha dentro. At the time, it felt like the Titans captain was preparing to take the bowler on. It was his second big move, after coming out at No. 3 and hitting his first ball for four. The logic was if he could defang one of CSK’s go-to men in conditions that were perfect for him that’ll send a shockwave right through the team. It was a calculated risk. It didn’t come off. Dhoni vs the umpiresWith the set batter gone, Dhoni reigned supreme. He had three overs of Pathirana left to combat Titans’ finishers. And he would use them all even if it meant inviting an over-rate penalty. That’s 16, 18 and 20. Only Pathirana had left the field for a while. So he couldn’t bowl the 16th until he had been on the pitch for the same time he had been off. So Dhoni went to the umpires and just had a little chat, seemingly letting the clock tick on down until he could unleash his death bowler.This is what Dhoni does. He defends totals. Sensing that the batter would be looking for a release shot now, the legspinner dangled one outside off. Gaikwad went after it, as he was supposed to, but he hit it inside out over cover where there were no fielders. That is a high-quality shot in a high-pressure situation against a high-class bowler. It represented both Gaikwad’s skill and his clear-headedness at the crease. CSK were very lucky he was reprieved on 2 off 6 by a no-ball.

Since former director Edu’s departure in November last year, Arsenal had been linked with PSG’s Luis Campos, among other high-profile officials, but Berta seems like a very good fit for Arsenal and Arteta.
There are already reports that Berta is set to splash the cash this summer, with GiveMeSport stating that Arsenal could spend up to £300 million on seven new signings under the Italian.
He is apparently set for a busy opening window as he looks to overhaul Arteta’s squad. Following Berta’s appointment, the Gunners are reportedly after a new back-up goalkeeper, full-back, defensive midfielder, left-winger, striker and, potentially, an alternative to Bukayo Saka out wide (GMS).
However, one of his key goals will be to win the race for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has already stated this week that Arsenal are “almost definitely” going to sign Zubimendi, but contrary reports state that Real Madrid are very much still in the mix.
The 26-year-old’s contract includes a £50 million release clause, which Arsenal are prepared to trigger (Fabrizio Romano). The main obstacle to this move is convincing Zubimendi to swap his boyhood club for the Premier League, which Liverpool failed to do last summer when the Spain international snubbed Arne Slot’s advances.

Now, a report by TEAMtalk has shared Arteta’s stance on Zubimendi, with Arsenal still in advanced talks to strike a pre-summer deal.
Arteta “certainly” wants Zubimendi at Arsenal, as per this report, and as previously reported, loose terms have already been agreed with the player. However, although negotiations are at an advanced stage, they’re apparently not finalised just yet.
This could hand Real Madrid some hope, but the good news for Arsenal is that Liverpool are apparently not planning to reignite their pursuit this year.
The Sociedad star has previously been called the “perfect” midfielder for Arteta, while Kieran Tierney has labelled him “world-class”. Given Thomas Partey and Jorginho are set to leave for nothing at the end of the season as things stand, it is imperative that Berta seals a move for Zubimendi to fill the void left in Arsenal’s engine room.

Promotion hopefuls Glamorgan are pressing for victory after Derbyshire collapsed dramatically on the third day of the LV=Insurance County Championship match at Derby.After an opening stand of 165 between Luis Reece and Harry Came, Derbyshire lost seven wickets for 44 to be bowled out for 318 but following on, the pair again played well to close on 78 without loss, 125 runs behind.Reece scored 131, his first Championship hundred of the season, and Came 65 but the home side fell apart against the second new ball as Glamorgan secured maximum bonus points.Leus du Plooy made 41 to complete 1,000 Championship runs for the season but his dismissal started the slide with Timm van der Gugten finishing with 3 for 94.Until that second new ball, Derbyshire had looked comfortable as they accumulated steadily against accurate but mainly unthreatening bowling.On a rain-interrupted morning, Came and Reece played patiently with the former reaching his 50 from 162 balls as the pair recorded Derbyshire’s highest opening stand against Glamorgan at Derby.The bowlers were getting little out of a slow pitch and after a brief rain break, it was a lapse in concentration that brought about the breakthrough. Came was tempted into driving at a wide ball from van der Gugten and edged into the gloves of Chris Cooke.It had taken 64 overs but Glamorgan only had to wait another four balls as Brooke Guest, who scored centuries in both innings of the corresponding match last season, was trapped on the crease lbw for a duck.Another shower left Reece on 99 at lunch but he completed his hundred immediately after the resumption with an edge past the slips off van der Gugten for his 12th four.When du Plooy drove van der Gugten to the cover boundary, he reached 1,000 Championship runs in a season for Derbyshire for the first time and although he was dropped at slip off Mitchell Swepson on 33, the wheels came flying off shortly afterwards.Reece was caught off the glove sweeping Swepson and when the new ball was taken, Jamie McIlroy got some late movement to have du Plooy caught behind.Haider Ali went in the next over cutting at van der Gugten and Anuj Dal failed to make the most of a dropped catch in the slips before he had scored when he edged McIlroy behind.At tea, Derbyshire needed another 63 to avoid following-on but the last four wickets went for only two runs in 19 balls. Andy Gorvin was getting the ball to swing in the overcast conditions but Alex Thomson edged a big drive before Tom Wood missed a sweep at Swepson.Gorvin tempted Zak Chappell into a drive which secured full bowling points and when George Scrimshaw was run out, Glamorgan had no hesitation in putting Derbyshire back in.The good news for the hosts was that the sun was now out and batting became easier as Came and Reece combined again to frustrate Glamorgan.David Lloyd rotated his bowlers but Derbyshire’s openers played responsibly to bat 33 overs to the close and give their side a chance of saving the match with Reece unbeaten on 53.

وفقًا للتقديرات، فإن ريال مدريد وفر ما لا يقل عن 25 مليون يورو، كانت ستُوزع على اللاعبين، لتصبح ضمن الأرباح غير المتوقعة نتيجة عدم تحقيق اللقب.
من غير المعروف ما إذا كانت الإدارة ستمنح اللاعبين مكافآت على التأهل إلى نصف النهائي، لكن المؤكد أنهم حصلوا هذا الموسم على مكافآت تجاوزت نصف مليون يورو لكل لاعب.
