قاد مدافع منتخب هولندا وليفربول، فيرجيل فان دايك، منتخب بلاده إلى نصف نهائي دوري الأمم الأوروبية، حيث انتصرت الطواحين الهولندية، بهدف نظيف على بلجيكا في ختام دور المجموعات من البطولة القارية.

وأقيمت المباراة بين هولندا وبلجيكا، مساء اليوم الأحد، على ملعب “أمستردام أرينا”، وذلك ضمن لقاءات الجولة السادسة من دور مجموعات دوري الأمم الأوروبية.

وانتهى الشوط الأول من المباراة بالتعادل السلبي بين الفريقين، حيث لم يتمكن أي من المنتخبين من هز الشباك على مدار الـ45 دقيقة الأولى.

وبالشوط الثاني من اللقاء، تعرض الدولي البلجيكي، إيدين هازارد، لإصابة في الدقيقة 64، أجبرته على مغادرة أرضية الميدان.

وجاء هدف المباراة الوحيد والفوز لأصحاب الأرض مع حلول الدقيقة 73، عبر فان دايك بعد ركلة ركنية من كودي جاكبو حولها مدافع ليفربول برأسه إلى شباك تيبو كورتوا.

وأجرى تييري هنري مساعد مدرب بلجيكا والذي قاد الشياطين في المباراة، عدة تغييرات هجومية من أجل العودة في النتيجة، ولكن ذلك لم يكن كافيًا، لتخطف هولندا النقاط الثلاث.

وبذلك أصبح رصيد هولندا 16 نقطة في صدارة المجموعة الرابعة بالمستوى الأول وتتأهل إلى دور نصف النهائي، بينما توقف رصيد بلجيكا عند 10 نقاط في المرتبة الثانية.

Já o Botafogo, que antes parecia garantido entre as sete primeiras posições, que dão vaga ao principal torneio do continente, vinha de duas derrotas e, com o empate em São Paulo, chega a 52 pontos. Passa a ser seriamente ameaçado de ficar fora da Libertadores de 2018.

O resultado mostra o que foi a partida. Os dois times até tiveram uma chance clara cada um, ambas no segundo tempo, quando Lindoso teve o chute travado por Bruno Alves, aos dois minutos, e com Pratto acertando a trave, mesmo estando completamente livre na cara do goleiro Gatito, aos 16. Mas foi pouco.

O Botafogo se impôs somente nos cinco minutos iniciais do primeiro e do segundo tempo. O time de Jair Ventura avançou sua marcação e dificultava que a bola saísse do campo do São Paulo. Mas essa postura só durou enquanto Jucilei não acertava quase sozinho a marcação.

No resto do jogo, o São Paulo teve mais momentos de supremacia,
mas nada que empolgasse demais. Sem Hernanes, e com Cueva no banco, já que o peruano voltou com atraso da seleção, Dorival armou um 4-1-4-1 com Shaylon buscando mais a bola e Lucas Fernandes solto. Nenhum deles, porém, foi realmente efetivo.

No segundo tempo, os dois treinadores trocaram peças no setor ofensivo, tentando alternativas para superar a parede que seus ataques encontravam em frente às áreas adversárias. Nesse aspecto, o São Paulo melhorou com a entrada de Cueva, e rondou mais a área de Gatito. Mas pouco aproveitou.

O Botafogo, por sua vez, encontrava espaço para contra-atacar. Mas faltava velocidade para decidir o jogo dessa maneira.

A chance de recuperação de ambos fica para a próxima rodada, fora de
casa. No domingo, o São Paulo visita o Coritiba, enquanto o Botafogo pega o Palmeiras, na segunda.

In a low-scoring affair on a sluggish pitch, bereft of grass, it was the Warriors’ bowlers who dominated proceedings to stifle the Bushrangers’ pursuit of 153.It was the type of track where scoring would get progressively harder as the ball got softer, and the Bushrangers dug themselves into a huge hole at 2 for 27 after six overs. Firstly Brad Knowles (3 for 20) and then Man-of-the-Match Ashley Noffke (2 for 23) summed up the conditions well using a mixture of pace and slower ball bouncers to foil the Bushrangers artillery in Brad Hodge, Matthew Wade, and David Hussey.Aaron Heal (2 for 20) then continued his superb form, spinning the ball sharply to claim big-hitters Cameron White and Dwayne Bravo with miscues, to leave the Victorian tail with too much to do and too little time to do it.Earlier the Warriors had given the Bushrangers a blueprint of how their innings should’ve been approached. Eddie Howe ‘likes’ the player, but it looks like he may now have to look elsewhere for other targets.

The Verdict: Shame

It would certainly be a shame if the Tyneside outfit miss out on signing Kelly.

Of course, he is a player that Howe knows well, having signed him for the Cherries while he was the manager there, and he then went on to play nine games under him in an injury-hit campaign.

Nonetheless, Howe would know how to get the best out of him, and his ability to play anywhere across the backline would have been a real asset to have, adding depth in multiple positions.

However, it looks like the new owners will now have to look at other targets in what promises to be a very busy next few weeks ahead.

O defensor rubro-negro sofreu uma fratura na clavícula numa disputa de bola na partida contra o Junior Barranquilla, na última quinta-feira. De acordo com o departamento médico do Flamengo, o tempo de recuperação neste caso é de cerca de oito semanas. O procedimento cirúrgico foi considerado bem-sucedido, segundo o médico Márcio Tannure, do Flamengo.

– A cirurgia do atleta Diego Alves foi realizada com sucesso pelo doutor Max Ramos, acompanhado por mim (Tannure) e pelo doutor Gustavo Caldeira, que também é médico do Flamengo. Esperamos que ele possa retornar à fisioterapia o mais breve possível – disse o profissional do Flamengo.

O goleiro deve receber alta médica ainda neste domingo. Ele está fora desta temporada, mas deve iniciar fisioterapia nas próximas semanas, ainda neste ano. A expectativa é que ele possa retomar aos jogos em janeiro.

Sem Diego Alves, o Flamengo terá Muralha em mais um momento-chave da temporada. O goleiro César, que já esteve na lista de inscritos da Sul-Americana, mas saiu para dar lugar ao próprio Diego Alves, deve retornar ao grupo para ficar no banco de reservas contra o Junior Barranquilla.
